MetroTix Purchase Policy

The following Purchase Policies are designed to ensure your understanding of, and satisfaction with, the purchase process on MetroTix.Com. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please visit our FAQ page or contact us.

By purchasing tickets or merchandise through MetroTix.Com, you are agreeing to be bound by these policies. You also agree to be bound by the MetroTix.Com Terms of Use , which are incorporated by reference. You also agree to be bound by the MetroTix.Com Privacy Policy , which is incorporated by reference.

These purchase policies may change at any time, and such changes shall be effective upon posting. By using this site after such changes have been posted, you agree to be bound by such changes.

Purchase Policies:

MetroTix.Com sells tickets and merchandise on behalf of venues, promoters, artists and teams. MetroTix.Com acts only as agent for these Sellers, and is not responsible for any claims or representations made by Seller. Seller reserves all rights to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or events, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.

Tickets and merchandise purchased through MetroTix.Com are subject to a non-refundable per-ticket or per-item service charge. Purchases may also be subject to non-refundable per-order handling and/or delivery charges. In the event of an event cancellation, Metrotix.Com shall use reasonable efforts to ensure you receive a prompt refund of the face value of your purchase. In the event of an event cancellation, please contact us for information regarding receiving your refund. If an event is modified, moved or rescheduled, the Seller may set refund limitations. Please contact us for more information.

Tickets sold via MetroTix.Com are also generally available through many distribution points, including venue box offices, remote outlets, and MetroTix charge-by-phone. All MetroTix-controlled distribution points access the same ticket system and ticket inventory simultaneously; as such, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. From time to time, additional tickets may be available for an event through distribution points not controlled by MetroTix. Please check the individual event or venue page, or our FAQ page for more information regarding ticket availability.

MetroTix.Com accepts the following forms of payment: Mastercard, VISA, Discover and American Express. Please refer to our Security page for important information regarding credit cards.

The right of event admission is reserved, and subject to the Seller and/or Venue's terms of admission (i.e. minimum age requirements, surcharges for minors, etc.) Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance. Please refer to the event page or venue page for specific information. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way, or are not purchased through authorized points of sale. Entry may also be refused if tickets are lost or stolen - please see our FAQ page for more information if either occurs. The rights are reserved to broadcast or telecast any event. The use of cameras, audio and video recorders may be prohibited. Please refer to the event or venue page for more information.

Before finalizing your purchase, please carefully review your event and seating selection. Policies set forth by our Sellers, including venues, teams and promoters, expressly prohibit from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased, or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.

To protect against fraud and unauthorized use of your credit card, please note that the name on the account used to purchase tickets must match the name on the credit card used for the transaction. If the person whose name is on the credit card does not have an existing MetroTix registration, please create a new account in that name. Also, the address of the MetroTix account must be the same as the address in your credit card account. If your address does not match with what the credit card company has on file, your tickets will be held until we can contact you to verify your address. If we are unable to contact you by email or through the phone number you have provided, your order will be cancelled and your tickets will be released.

If you have selected to have your tickets delivered by mail, please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery. Please note that tickets can only be mailed to the billing address of the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Incorrect billing or credit card account information can delay processing and delivery. Please contact us if you have not received your tickets within the time frame defined above.

If your tickets are being held for pick-up at the venue on the night of the show, please note that the tickets will only be released to the person whose name is on the account and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. The credit card used for the transaction and a photo ID must be presented for tickets to be released. In most cases, these tickets will be available no earlier than one hour prior to the scheduled start of the event.
