Get yer’ Irish on and prepare to be thoroughly entertained! Band leader, Mitzi MacDonald, from Nova Scotia, Canada performs with her daughters – Holly Laws and Ashby Laws, both world class Irish musicians, her son Andrew Laws on bass, and original band members; vocalist Randy Getz, and guitarist Mike Levine, with Marc Waters on percussion.
A highly entertaining hometown favorite, Keltic Reign is well known for their annual Christmas show at the Sheldon Concert Hall, as well as numerous performances at Irish festivals, The Whitaker Music Festival, Twilight Tuesday, and The Scottish Games. Together they have recorded three albums, with their own driving brand of Irish, Scottish, and east coast Canadian songs. Mitzi is also a prolific songwriter and has recorded six solo albums. This year, she released her latest album, Mitzi MacDonald and the Laws of Music, recorded with her adult children.
Keltic Reign formed back in 2000 and they have remained active throughout. The kids grew up listening to and learning traditional Irish and Scottish music, and their fans have loved watching and as they progressed from guest appearances to frontline stage performers! Theirs is a house filled with music and song, and on Sunday, March 16th - it will fill our house too!
