Tracy ( T-Spirit) Stanton Presents: STMBH
Some Things Must Be Heard : Spitting & Politicking is a Spoken Word, Communal Healing, and Community Building Platform that merges Art, Activism, and Community Organizing. Our ultimate goal is to move people to take action in their own lives and/or in the community at large. We provide a brave space for community members to connect, express, and address the issues that affect us all.
We host open mics and closed mic productions and our upcoming open mic event on Saturday July, 20th we will have two phenomenal features and we are centering food justice/ security and accessibility to healthy food options.
Join Erica Williams, the Founder and Executive Director of A Red Circle, a nonprofit that works for community betterment in North County through a racial equity lens. A Red Circle operates programming in education, community wellness, and the arts and Tony Pilgrim, the founder and Executive Director of Pilgrim’s Pantry; a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between farm grown, Whole Foods and underserved communities. He grew up in North Saint Louis City and the Central West End. Anthony is a Husband, Father, Mentor, Lyricist and Movement Artist that aspires to create meaningful change through art and advocacy.
