As part of the George E. Mylonas Lecture in Classical Art and Archaeology, best-selling historian Bettany Hughes will guide us through the landscapes of both ancient and modern times. Hughes’s book, The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, will be on sale in the Museum Shop, and she will be available to sign books immediately following the program.
This lecture is presented in partnership with the Hellenic Government–Karakas Family Foundation Professorship in Greek Studies at the University of Missouri–St. Louis; the departments of classics and art history and archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis; and the Classical Club of St. Louis.
